Silke Calloway

I coach and educate dancers of all levels.

Silke preceded her dance career with a career in dressage in Germany, including acrobatics on horseback. She has trained extensively in all major areas of dance performance including ballet, jazz, and flamenco and is also a highly commended, dual fellow of the ISTD. Since their retirement as professional competitors in 2001, Silke has earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree and is employed at Shady Grove Adventist Hospital near their home in Bethesda, Maryland.

I first met Dan Calloway when I was in college, and Dan was regularly instructing college students at various festivals and workshops across the East Coast. While I admit that we, as college students, got excited about pretty much anything related to ballroom dancing, few things got us more pumped up than a lesson from Dan.
